SMOKING LAUNCHES A COMPETITION TO DESIGN THEIR NEW GRAPHIC COLLECTIONS OF LIGHTERS

SMOKING is a cult brand that produces rolling papers and lighters, distributed throughout Europe. Its contemporary design lighters are created in limited editions and collected by fans from all over the world: some of them are impossible to find!

DEPICT YOUR LIGHTERS!

SMOKING want to take another step closer to their passionate audience and that’s the reason why they’re asking you, Shicon’s creative talents, to design a new graphic collection of lighters.

The best graphics will get prizes, and will be printed and distributed by SMOKING throughout Italy first and, possibly, on an international basis later.

This is a unique opportunity! You could see your graphic ideas become the new SMOKING collection!

WHAT'S YOUR LIGHTER STYLE? CREATE YOUR LIGHTERS COLLECTION!

While creating graphics for their lighters you can think about the Smoking style: young, cool and a bit unconventional, irreverent, always in line with the latest trends. Feel free to interpret the SMOKING style, designing their image through your taste, don’t be shy, you may dare to play instead!

Create your graphic designs & illustrations using your sheer fantasy, be unique, and surprise SMOKING!

PRIZES

First Prize: €1.200 + your 8 graphics printed on SMOKING lighters.
Second Prize: €300 + possibility that the 8 graphics will be printed on SMOKING lighters.

IMPORTANT NOTE:

How many graphics can I submit?
There are no limits to the number of submissions allowed for each designer, but remember that for each idea/concept in the “What’s your lighter style?” competition you need to create and submit a collection of 8 graphic designs. Download the kit, now!

How to submit?
one Thumbnail - 112x157 pixels jpg, gif or png - that has to be the best representation of your design/idea because we'll use it in the vote gallery and through various areas on the site. one Large image - 650x500 pixels jpg, gif or png - to show the 8 graphics with at least one on the lighter.

Remember:
Create your design using Adobe Photoshop or Illustrator. Submit a low resolution version jpg, gif or png for the contest, but make yourself sure and ready for high resolution in case you win.
