• Pleasantness of the presentation.
• Coherence with the brief provided.

OVS introduces “SUMMER VIBES” COOL HUNTING CONTEST: create your mood board about Summer

OVS asks cool hunters from all over the world to spot present and future summer trends in fashion and lifestyle and to creatively represent them by way of mood boards.

What’s your interpretation of Summer? Which vibes it beams to you? Which will be the colors, patterns and designs of the hour? From which place will you find the inspiration to create the one that, in your opinion, will be next Summer style? This Summer will be pastel o fluo colors will be next must-have? Self-colored or patterned fabrics? Geometrical or floral? Sea, mountain or urban panoramas? Will it be sporty, casual or elegant?

Let the inspiration flood over from everything surrounds you and create your mood board about Summer!

WHAT YOU HAVE TO CREATE

OVS asks cool hunters to display the outcome of their researches in the form of mood boards, digital collages composed by photos, color palettes, patterns and words able to depict fashion & lifestyle suggestions and mood.
Create real digital collages, by using photos and images able to express your concept: interesting outfits, cool accessories or tools, panoramas, fabric patterns or unique designs, color palettes, drawings and sketches, quotes able to evoke your idea.

You won’t have boundaries: feel free to include in your mood board whatever visible suggestion you think can be able to express your style concept. Please, refer to examples provided in the download kit to arrange your mood board.

PRIZES AND VISIBILITY

OVS will assess your mood board and your ability to express a style concept in the most evoking and effective way.

• The mood board that will express the most interesting and complete concept will win a cash prize of 2.000€
• Other 3 interesting proposal will be awarded with 3 amazing Dude Bikes

HOW TO SUBMIT

Create your mood boards as digital collages and upload them on Shicon.com.
Files must be in jpeg format and do not exceed 5 megabytes.

FaQs

Is there a limit to the number of proposals I can submit?
Not at all, feel free to submit all the proposals you want. The important thing is that they must fulfill the brief and be in the form of mood boards.

Which proposals will be considered as valid and accepted into the competition?
Mood boards are digital collages composed by photos, pictures, sketches and words. Try to arrange a varied and complete mood board, made of different visual insights.
Single photos or images will be not admitted to the competition. Please, refer to examples provided in the download kit to arrange your mood board.

Where I can find visual inputs for my mood board and how should I treat images found on the Internet?
Mood boards are built by visual materials collected both in real conditions that on the internet.
Since this is a cool hunting contest, having real pictures from you is strongly recommended, but we know that having the right accessories or clothes or fabrics in your possession is extremely hard.
So, the best thing to do is to mix the two things, by creating something composed both by photos snapped by you and visual inputs collected online.
In order to preserve the righteous copyright rights for the second ones, the best thing is to quote the source (the photographer if available or the website you found it). You can use the comment space available under each submission to do so.
The most important thing in this contest is that the final work must be your own original creation, so it's the way you arrange the composition that matters. There's a lot of "ready made" mood boards on the Internet and copies will not be accepted.

How will OVS select the winning proposals and which use will be made of them?
After contest closure, the management of OVS will make its assessment internally.
Winning mood boards will become the exclusive property of OVS, that could use winning concepts in the future for store and shop-window set ups, as well communication materials (catalogues, leaflets, postcards, etc.). Please refer to the Submission Terms section for further details.
