Shiconize yourself!

Dear community friends,
now it's your time to show everybody your born identity!

Feel either scared or nervous?!
It's the right start then! Because we are ready to move forward through a very intimate step with you, asking:

Create your own avatar. Show the best of your identity! Shiconize yourself.

What do you have to do to join the contest?
Create a character, a cartoon or use your photo, as long as it uses and gives life&personality to the Shicon body shape, which you can see in the Download kit files! Create your own avatar in Shicon and never forget that it represents your visual identity within the community.

Why join this contest? Because this is your opportunity to:
1) show your creative face/soul
2) share with the other members what skills you have got (e.g. illustration, computer art, etc)
3) provide the brands that work on Shicon with your complete portrait
4) be part of our new special "Shiconize yourself" page with the avatars of the Shicon community

PRIZES

We are going to pick up an overall winner, with a € 500 cash prize. We will also pick 5 avatars that will get € 200 cash prize each.
Those 5 winners will get a special award in one of the following categories:
1) the funniest
2) the coolest
3) the most minimal
4) the craziest
4) the most Shiconous

Then guys, using all the avatars that joined the competition we are going to create a special page on the Shicon website! And in the next future we'd like to print them on a poster, in the "Best of Shicon" book, to create a wallpaper you can download... whatever will sound cool from time to time!

Important note

How to submit?
One Thumbnail - 112x157 pixels jpg or png - that has to be the best representation of your avatar because we'll use it in the vote gallery and through various areas on the site. One Large image - 650x500 pixels jpg or png - to show your avatar in full.

Do I have to change my Shicon avatar for real too?
Oh yes indeed! After you made your official submission as described above, you must update your Profile with the new avatar you have created, for which you will need a 110x110 pixels jpg or png!

How many avatars can I submit?
Only one! Of course you would do just one submission to express your identity, so that everybody can look at your unique representation. Although on the philosophical side, we certainly understand you could feel like having multiple souls! Therefore we wouldn't be surprised if you feel the urge to change your avatar in a while. :D
