"Art for a Digital World" Contest.

EXPOgadget is an event dedicated to the digital world, which is going to be held in Padova (Veneto, Italy) on the 5th, 6th and 7th March 2010. The Academy of Graphic Arts of Venice is sponsoring a creative contest on Shicon.com in which product designers, painters, graphic designers, artists, architects are welcome to participate with ideas that can connect the art to the digital world.

We are looking for innovative objects, kinetic art (as long as transportable), graphic designs that can be printed on fashion products, illustrations, concepts and everything which can be driven by your fantasy and creativity. Even the recycling interpretation of digital arts is welcome, as well as your future vision.

Prize

The first place prize is €200 cash and 100 credits to shop on Shicon.com.

All the winning ArtWorks will be exhibited or presented in Padova during the event on Saturday 6th March, and the same ArtWorks will also be shown on the EXPOgadget and Academy websites, on external blogs, social networks and where possible in agreement with the author, the ArtWorks could be sold.

The winning ArtWork will be selected by a combination of votes and comments from the user community, Shicon's team and the Academy of Graphic Arts of Venice so spred and share your ArtWorks all over by referring to the Shicon.com site.

The 3 more winning ArtWorks that will be exhibited & presented in Padova during the EXPOgadget on Saturday 6th March are:

ArtDesign "Ancient geek" by InnerMonster. Because the designer agreed with us to print it on Limited Edition laptop's stickers/skins he gets 100 credits and 20% of the selling price for each item we'll sell. Great news Inner!
